Ingate Releases SIP Trunk-UC Summit Schedule; Plans Pre-Conference Workshop

Ingate Systems has announced the availability of the agenda for the SIP Trunk-Unified Communications (UC) Summit at ITEXPO East 2011. The company is excitedly reporting that this year’s event is set to be bigger than ever, with new speakers and seminars.
The SIP Trunk-UC Summit will be held Feb. 2 to 4, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida, in room A208.
A new pre-conference workshop is set to be made available for free to all UC Summit participants. This half-day workshop will be presented by Ingate and partners and will focus on minimizing deployment costs and maximizing value. Seminars included in this workshop are tailored specifically to meet the needs of this audience and are provide below.
The UC summit will offer a full day of programming on Unified Communications and will include speakers from Aastra, ShoreTel and Broadvox, Bandwidth.com (News - Alert), Commetrex, EarthLink Business, FaxCore, Intertex Data AB, Qwest Business, SIP Forum, the Unified Communications Interoperability Forum (UCIF) and VOIPSA.
Matt Vlasach of Unwired Revolution (News - Alert) plans to stress that SIP trunking is essential in UC for ensuring scalability and functionality of unified communications systems and helping bridge the gap between TDM and IP-based communications. Vlasach will be furthering that point during two sessions at the SIP Trunk-Unified Communications (News - Alert) Summit.
Unwired Revolution will also present a case study on SIP, Unifying the Distributed Workforce. Service provider Telia and Intertex Data AB plan to discuss their SIP trunk implementation as a case study.
The future for service providers in a UC-enabled world will be explored by David Yedwab, a founding partner in Market Strategy and Analytics Partners (News - Alert) LLC, and contributor to Unified Communications Strategies and TMCnet columnist. Sessions will be moderated by Joel Maloff of Maloff NetResults.

The program will also feature live demonstrations and participates will be invited to set up a SIP trunk on site in 20 minutes.
Event attendees will have the opportunity to earn a SIP Trunking Professional Certificate by participating in the Professional Development Program on Feb. 2. Attending all seminars on February 3 will earn participants a Unified Communications Professional Certificate.
