Tpad (News - Alert), a leading communications solutions company, recently added SIP Trunking to its service portfolio. By adding SIP Trunking to its roster, Tpad expects to compete with other business telephony companies such as BT, Avaya, Samsung (News - Alert) and Microsoft Lync.

One of the newest telecommunications technologies, SIP Trunking allows companies to improve their communication infrastructure while drastically reducing operating costs and hardware investments. It is fully-scalable to accommodate high traffic and bigger number of users."Previously, our clients had to use traditional technology which used costly PSTN, BRIs and PRIs circuits, and we are just about to radically change that," says Tpad Marketing Manager Steven Johns (News - Alert), in a statement. "Although traditional phone systems with SIP are efficient, thanks to VoIP and IP PBX (News - Alert), companies had to spend on physical cables and analogue circuits," he adds. With SIP trunks, Tpad offers a technology that integrates data and voice over a dedicated internet access circuit. With this system, phone calls made are routed to the IP backbone using VoIP. These trunks are used along with a PBX telephone system in place of traditional PRIs (Primary Rate Interface) and fixed line circuits in PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network).

"The main advantage of SIP trunks is that it can utilize your existing data connection and facilities to improve your communication lines, allowing our clients to save more on monthly call costs, says Tpad Sales Director Simon Jones. “It also makes efficient use of the Internet services hired through their respective providers."

Sounding confident about the prospect of growth in SIP trunk and SIP Gateway (News - Alert) services, Tpad Group Marketing Director John Free said that companies will continue to seek to improve their communication, and they will find that this communications technology offers one of the most inexpensive solutions that perfectly meet their needs.

Tpad CEO Tahir Mohsan suggests growing companies to adapt SIP trunking because of this reason: "SIP trunking can be used with as few or as many users as necessary, ensuring maximum productivity and profitability."  Tpad also promises full integration of this technology without disrupting regular business processes. "Deployment and provisioning of SIP Trunking / SIP Gateways is immediate. No longer do companies need to wait days for circuits to be installed," Mohsan adds.
