Covista Communications (News - Alert) has signed a strategic marketing agreement with NextStep Technology Solutions, the Exclusive Master Distributor for Samsung Business Communications Systems (News

The Samsung product portfolio (OfficServ systems, Ubigate gateways, switches, routers, and SIP phones) will be bundled with Covista’s SIP trunking and CaaS service offering as per the agreement.
This alliance creates affordable, complete end to end VoIP services and solutions for small and medium businesses.
“The marketing alliance between Covista and NextStep will play a significant role in the company’s continuing efforts to expand the channel and to develop a stronger market presence,” said Kent Terpe, vice president of Channels & Alliances, Covista. “Our combined resources will provide VARs, the ability to offer a rich portfolio of customer premise, managed and CaaS based solutions with the highest level of support services on a nationwide basis.”
Both companies note that earlier only “Fortune 500” companies could afford converged communications systems. But now situation has changed and small to medium businesses can turn to Samsung (News - Alert) with network services provided by Covista.
Business environment keeps on changing and today’s market for business VoIP has created a demand for a telecom provider that can offer technology and services as one complete solution at an affordable price.
“The partnership with Samsung/NextStep to bundle our SIP trunking services with the Samsung BCS product portfolio demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers and VARs with a more robust, cost-effective, simple to deploy and maintain solution that competes head-to-head with tier one vendors,” said Jeff Slater, COO of Covista.
