Sabio has entered into a partnership with Gamma Telecom, one of the UK's largest providers of IP telephony services.
As part of the pact, Sabio's Network Services operation will integrate Gamma's SIP trunking services with Avaya's (News
- Alert) comprehensive IP telephony platforms to provide customers with an end-to-end approach to optimising their telephony systems and services with SIP technology.Officials with Gamma Telecom said that as a Sabio Network Services partner, the company will provide a comprehensive IP access and SIP trunking capability, enabling Sabio to offer customers a fully integrated enterprise telephony service backed by the highest levels of availability and service level guarantees.
Company officials said that Sabio Network Services will also take advantage of Gamma Telecom's SIP trunking solutions to deliver a range of additional service benefits including flexible numbering, number portability, multi-site support, free calls between IP sites, full business continuity and emergency services support."As a trusted contact centre and unified communications partner to many of the UK's leading businesses, Sabio is well placed to support organizations as they look to optimize their enterprise telephony performance," said Richard Bligh, marketing director at Gamma Telecom, in a statement.
Bligh said that Sabio's proven contact centre technology and UC expertise will help them add significant value to Gamma's SIP trunking solutions - not just through unlocking cost savings for customers, but also in opening up the organisational benefits that can be achieved when the traditional link between numbering and location is broken.
