This is done by converging voice and data networks that come with a scalability of up to 100 employees. This service is meant for those clients who want to make the most of a small business IP PBX (News - Alert) system. This, while steering clear of the costs related to analog gateways and the more traditional T-1 solutions.

Compatibility testing is designed to determine interoperability in most customary configurations.

Mark Monday, Vice President and General Manager, Small Business Technology Group, for Cisco, said, “Small and medium-sized businesses are realizing that the use of Internet Protocol is very efficient and the Cisco Unified Communications (News - Alert) 500 system for small businesses capitalizes on this for quick and easy deployment, improved utilization of network capacity, economical direct inward dialing and business continuity, all of which Optimum Business customers can now enjoy.”
