InnoMedia is one of the leading organizations in smart VoIP appliances, and they recently announced that they have been selected by Buckeye TeleSystem for their SIP trunking service for Enterprises. In comparison with other analog phone circuits, these SIP trunks afford the same level of quality but at prices that are lower per circuit. They also can be scaled in increments and in real time bringing down the necessity to put in new lines.

Service providers have the ideal product in InnoMedia ESBC line of enterprise SIP gateways (ESGs) when it comes to the best way to deploy scalable, QoS-managed SIP Trunking as well as Hosted PBX services to their business clientele. This also includes support for traditional PBXs that have a PRI connection. It is the perfect way of merging SIP Trunking and Data Services with the enterprise customer.

Buckeye TeleSystem uses InnoMedia's ESBC 9328-4B and gives the option of Back-to-Back User Agent (B2BUA). This is done to provide reliable SIP Trunk services to clients with varying IPPBXs. It also handles SIP ALG for customers who require hosted PBX IPPhone services. There is also a bridge port for high-speed data, RIPv2 for static IP addresses in the router port and also an internal battery for power backup. There is the business friendly primary line VoIP FXS ports to look forward to as well.

In a release, Adam Hashi, Manager of VoIP Engineering for Buckeye TeleSystem, said, "We insist on utmost quality and reliability when it comes to our network and InnoMedia's ESBC 9328, 9380 and 8528 met all of our requirements for functionality and robustness. The InnoMedia ESBC product family provides a SIP protocol-level forking capability which allows us to offer hosted voice services supporting a single SIP user account for multiple IP end devices."

Along with managed MTAs and ESBCs, InnoMedia also provides a holistic line of VoIP products. These include a cable modem integrated eMTAs, IP PBXs, IP Phones, and a free Element Management System (EMS).

Dr. Nan-Sheng Lin, President of InnoMedia says, "InnoMedia's extensive gateway portfolio has been used by Buckeye TeleSystem to provide VoIP services to its customers for several years with great success. Adoption of the InnoMedia's ESBC line of Enterprise SIP gateways (ESGs) further solidifies a mutually beneficial relationship between our companies."
