It's common knowledge that most organizations use different providers for their communication and IT services and in the process spend a lot of valuable time and resources managing vendors and platforms rather than focusing on their business. Appia Communications, a provider of managed communication and network services has sought to change this by making available new SIP trunking bundles for business VoIP.
Appia offers basic bundles and enhanced SIP trunking bundles. While the basic bundles include 48,000 minutes of local and long distance calling, a toll free number and unlimited call paths, the enhanced bundles include free audio conferencing and 100,000 minutes of usage in its largest package. Both the bundles come packaged with 911, directory listing and caller name service.
”We are focused on making it as simple as possible for customers to choose the services that best meet their needs,” said Victor von Schlegell, Appia’s president, in a press release, and added,. “Customers can take advantage of convenient bundles with a strong set of features for a great price.”
Selecting and managing IP applications, however, requires time, expertise and experience, resources smaller organizations don’t always have. Appia claims that its bundles provide unique value to even small and midsized business customers as the SIP trunking bundles have features that they would otherwise have to buy separately.
Another advantage is that these bundles work with most traditional telephone systems and with all Appia certified Internet-enabled telephone systems.
Such IP-based applications also increase employee productivity, improve customer care and reduce cost. Companies can view their savings by using the cost comparison calculator in Appia's managed services.
In other news, Appia Communications announced new unlimited use video communication pricing.
"As travel costs continue to climb and travel hassles continue to worsen, video communication is coming into its own. We hope to help accelerate that change by offering high quality, secure, high-definition video at a price almost every company and organization can afford," said Victor von Schlegell, Appia's president.
