LG-Ericsson Reaches SIP Interoperability Standards with iPECS IP Communication Products

LG-Ericsson (News - Alert) USA has just revealed that its products have beaten all averages in SIP-trunking interoperability tests that were administered by 3NG networks.

Director of Product Marketing Iain Kenney (News - Alert), LG-Ericsson USA, said in a statement, "SIP trunking is one of the ways that businesses can leverage the latest in reliable IP networking to deliver economical broad-spectrum communications. Our iPECS-LIK pure IP and ipLDK-60 hybrid communications solutions, both of which utilize LG-Ericsson's flexible and comprehensive communications software, both passed 3NG's SIP interoperability testing easily, demonstrating that our customers can rely on LG-Ericsson's IP communications solutions for reliable SIP trunking."

3NG Networks CEO, Matthew Padiyara added, "SIP interoperability testing is crucial when introducing a new system so that our clients start out with solid reliable solutions. LG-Ericsson's iPECS-LIK and ipLDK-60 communications solutions worked beautifully in our testing, as we know they will when our clients put them to real-world use for their business-critical applications either in the US or overseas."

Both iPECS-LIK and ipLDK-60 products are designed to make business voice communications more streamlined and affordable through using SIP trunking to deliver VoIP sessions on the fly along with many other features that take advantage of IP.

If you own a small or medium-sized business, you could take advantage of what ipLDK-60 has to offer, keeping your costs low while enjoying advantages of both plain-old telephone service (POTS) and the Internet to deliver the smoothest calls. While supporting the older PSTN (analog) trunks, it also delivers services through digital mediums and offers session initiation protocol (SIP) capabilities. So, in essence you'll be getting a fully-fledged business-wide VoIP solution with minimal hardware requirements for deployment. You can also install a couple of expansion cards on devices you would like to integrate ipLDK-60 with or use as little as three extensions or as many as 48, making it possible for you to expand easily in the future.

The addition the iPECS-LIK offers many innovative features such as SMS, caller ID, call recording, coverage, voice-over and conferencing.
