The SIPNOC US is a two-day conference, currently in its second year, and will take place between June 25-27 at the Hyatt Dulles Hotel in Herndon, VA.

The conference owners bill it as a "unique educational conference for international telecom stakeholders, responsible for the deployment, management and ongoing operation of SIP-based services in service provider networks."

The fledgling conference has released its preliminary conference schedule today, which includes a full listing of feature events, presentations, speeches and panels.

They have also announced that Henning Schulzrinne, the Chief Technology Officer at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will present as keynote speaker.

Other events will cover topics such as "network security, SIP trunking, testing and application development, Fax over IP, call routing and peering, IPv6, troubleshooting and monitoring, emergency services and more," according to a release.

“This year’s conference line-up is designed to build on the conversation started at last year’s inaugural SIPNOC by some of our industry’s brightest technical minds,” said Marc Robins, SIP Forum President and Managing Director. “We believe the presentations will be insightful and educational for conferees; we also hope they will spur interesting discussions and the free exchange of ideas, ultimately leading to tangible progress that positively impacts global service provider SIP deployments.”
