It was a busy week in the SIP Trunking sector. Here are some of the major stories from TMCnet.

GL Communications recently released its Message Automation & Protocol Simulation (MAPS) LTE (News - Alert) S1 Interface Emulator. It is targeted for commercial use. The MAPS LTE S1 Interface Emulator is capable of simulating eNodeB and MME elements in S1 interface. Apart from supporting LTE control plane, the emulator can act in response to hundreds of UE signaling during load testing.


In another story, TelcoDepot.com has unveiled a custom-designed VoIP phone system that has been created specifically for oil and gas organizations. It will decrease corporate communication expenses and enhance the competence and output of operations.

It was also reported on TMCnet how CIP-ALL from EMRISE Corporation supports a range of industry standard interfaces, offering pseudo-wire emulation over Ethernet-IP with the help of fiber or copper media.

In addition, TMCnet’s Mandira Srivastava reports that Teltech Africa was selected by Indosoft (News - Alert) to resell its Q-Suite-based contact center solutions in Botswana and other southern African countries such as Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Africa. Indosoft has deployed its ACD and Dialer software suite in many call centers across the world, either directly or via resellers.

In still another story, TMCnet reports that VTech Telecommunications Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of VTech Holdings Ltd., announced that its line of Session Initiation Protocol Hospitality phones were certified compatible by Phybridge (News - Alert), for Phybridge's UniPhyer and PhyAdapter products.
