IntelePeer has signed a contract with Microsoft Gold Partner, Conquest Technology Services to offer Microsoft Lync Unified Communications (News - Alert) to a variety of business consumers.

As part of the joint-venture, a special program called “Lync Experience Voice Now" pilot service has been made available to customers. The program, available for no extra cost for a month, will offer UC headsets for 10 users, allowing business owners to experience Microsoft Lync in a simplified manner.

The trial pilot, consisting of IntelePeer's (News - Alert) CoreCloud SIP trunking, will be provided and controlled by Conquest, and offer carrier services and PSTN access to customers.

"Despite clear productivity and cost advantages, some business owners remain concerned that solutions such as Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync will be too complex or lead to less reliable UC connections,” said Ben Tosado, founder and VP of Professional Services at Conquest Technology Services. “This trial program provides a no-risk way for businesses to experience Microsoft Lync first-hand, and we are confident customers will come away impressed by the performance and ease of deployment. IntelePeer's carrier-class SIP trunking technology plays a key role in this process, delivering crystal clear, reliable connections and contributing to cost-effective operations."

IntelePeer will provide an all-inclusive suite of on-demand communications and SIP trunking services, along with strong expertise in communications, guaranteeing successful Microsoft Lync implementations for the associates. The company also offers feature-loaded, carrier-quality service over public or private Internet Protocol (IP) connections with the help of its CloudWorx Communications-as-a-Service (CaaS) platform.

Media Peering Grid offerings and the SuperRegistry directory are integrated by IntelePeer's original platform for connecting dissimilar UC environments. This incorporation also results in flawless enablement of full-featured multi-modal communications for any user.

"Microsoft Lync, paired with the quality and value of IntelePeer SIP trunking services, delivers a very compelling business solution,” said Margaret Norton, GM of Enterprises at IntelePeer. “This evaluation program, in cooperation with Conquest and Microsoft, promises to accelerate the adoption of Microsoft Lync and fuel a new wave of business productivity as customers embrace the range of rich media services available through our combined offerings."
