SIP-Only Obi302 Provides Superior VoIP CPE Solution

SIP-only OBi302, now available for deployment to subscribers, is another effort to this end.

The SIP-only OBi302 contains dual phone ports, an integrated Ethernet router with built-in quality of service and a USB port with support for the OBiWiFi Wireless Adapter. The device is meant to satisfy customers' SIP and T.38 fax signaling protocol requirements.

Internet Telephony (News - Alert) Service Providers (ITSP) will benefit from the Zero-Touch customization functionality with lower operational costs and accelerated customer deployments, while the cloud-based device management with the OBiTALK ITSP portal will help them remotely administer, provision and manage their OBi devices.

Service providers will also use the OBiTALK ITSP portal to help troubleshoot device-specific issues independent of subscriber’s assistance or intervention.

The Obi302 is quickly being considered a fantastic upgrade and a perfect replacement for the once popular, but now end-of-sale Cisco (News - Alert) SPA2102 and PAP2T ATAs.

Obihai is also proposing to enter into partnerships with more telecom companies in Norway, Australia and Canada, where the Obi302 is already being deployed successfully.

By reportedly bringing an excellent line of products to the market at competitive price points and virtually eliminating echo and talk-off, officials sent the message that clear calls and customer satisfaction were top priorities for the company.
