Ingate SIParator Enterprise Session Border Controller Becomes Certified Member of A2P2

Following rigorous testing at customer sites Ingate Systems (News - Alert), a provider of Enterprise Session Border Controllers (E-SBCs) that enable SIP communications such as SIP Trunking and Unified Communications (UC) beyond the protected enterprise network, has become a certified member of the Aastra Approval Partner Program (A2P2).

Aastra (News - Alert) focuses on enterprise communications and offers a complete portfolio of UC solutions individually tailored to customers' requirements, which range from feature-rich call managers for small and medium businesses to scalable ones for large enterprises. Also, Aastra's portfolio includes integrated mobility, multimedia contact center, high definition video conferencing solutions, and more.

With this certification, Ingate's customers benefit from having Ingate products integrated with communications solutions from Aastra, a company at the forefront of the enterprise communications market. As an Aastra technology partner, Ingate is qualified to integrate its Ingate SIParator E-SBC with the Aastra MX-ONE and Aastra 700 multimedia communication platforms.

"Enabling teleworkers to use the corporate VoIP, video, and all Unified and Collaborative Communications (UCC) applications from their home office, while on the road etc., is a tremendous competitive advantage," said Martin Feuk, general manager, Ingate Systems, in a statement. With an Ingate SIParator at the corporate site, users outside the network can use the UC applications available with the Aastra MX-ONE and Aastra 700, an ideal solution for remote workers. Additionally, the SIParator enables teleworker clients to be integrated extensions in the MX-ONE or Aastra 700, allowing remote workers who use SIP devices such as Aastra BluStar 8000i media phone, BluStar clients for PC, BluStar apps for iPhone (News - Alert) or iPad or the Aastra 6700i SIP phones, to use the multimedia communication platform's capabilities.

The Aastra MX-ONE is an SIP-based multimedia collaboration solution with UCC applications and end-points for medium-to-large enterprises. The Aastra 700 is a prepackaged version of the MX-ONE, addressing the SME space. The SIParator solves interoperability issues between the SIP devices and communication servers, enabling them to interoperate in mixed environments adapting to all interpretations of SIP.

Currently, the Ingate SIParator is available as a hardware solution as well as software solution that can be installed on your own server or be used as a virtualized application.
