CyberData Corporation Unveils New SIP Outdoor Keypad Intercom

CyberData (News - Alert) Corporation, an original equipment design and manufacturing company, recently released a brand new device called the SIP Outdoor Keypad Intercom.

“This year, we’ve continued to meet the requests for new products and additional features and functions on our existing products. This new SIP Outdoor Keypad Intercom is a result of listening to what folks in the market are asking for,” said Phil Lembo, president and CEO of CyberData, in a statement.

Officials said that the introduction of SIP Outdoor Keypad Intercom expands on CyberData’s one-button V3 VoIP SIP-enabled Outdoor Intercom, now with a 12 button keypad that is backlit.

The device combines the versatility of a SIP-based keypad intercom with the increased weather protection rating of IP65. It now successfully supports Survivable Remote Site Telephony in a CISCO environment.

Perfect for commercial and residential settings, the retail and manufacturing segment, classrooms and universities, the SIP-based keypad intercom operates as both a two-way communication and secure access device.

The one button keypad intercoms now come with optional shrouds, sold separately, for greater weather protection.

CyberData has also released several other new devices including the new Talkback Speaker in SIP and Singlewire enabled versions, the new V3 Paging Server with voice prompts and password controlled zones, and the V3 SIP Office Ringer. All these devices support SRST and are used for general paging and mass notification.

In related TMC (News - Alert) news, CyberData Corporation announced it has entered into a new partnership with Patton Electronics, developers of the Microsoft Lync-certified SmartNode VoIP Gateway (News - Alert), to deploy Patton’s SmartNode VoIP Gateway to achieve certified interoperability with Lync, unified communications platform Microsoft.
