Ingate Systems Reveals SIP Trunking-Unified Communications Seminars Agenda

The upcoming ITEXPO is fast approaching and new details of the event's schedule are released every day. Most recently, Ingate Systems (News - Alert) revealed the schedule for the SIP Trunking-Unified Communications Seminars that will take place at ITEXPO. These seminars are to take place from August 27 to 29 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and are free for all ITEXPO attendees.

Aiming to provide in-depth education sessions on the what, why and how of unified communications and SIP trunking, the seminars will feature major players in the industry, with speakers from ANPI, Broadvox, FaxCore, Grandstream, NACR, ShoreTel (News - Alert), Telecom Reseller, WebRTC Strategies, Ingate and Microsoft. Joel Maloff of Phone.com will present and moderate the sessions.

Tuesday, August 27 will kick off the seminars with the SIP Trunking Academy (Certificate Program), which will include sessions such as: SIP Explained; Service Providers: An Overview; The IP-PBX (News - Alert); Hosted SIP Trunking; SIP Trunking with Microsoft Lync; Managing FoIP Over SIP Trunks?; Case Study: Large Call Center Dials-Up SIP Trunks; and SIP Trunk Security with E-SBCs.

Wednesday, August 28 is another certificate program that will focus on Unified Communications, with a strong focus on WebRTC in the morning, followed by a Town Hall Meeting, Making FoIP Work with RFC 6913, and Open Source (News - Alert) IP-PBX Software.

Finally, August 29 will be a Boot Camp with sessions including: Building Your Business with SIP Trunking and Unified Communications; Q-TURN: The Firewall Traversal TURN Server for WebRTC in the Firewall; The Ingate WebRTC & SIP E-SBC Companion; and SIP Trunk "Basic Training" with Ingate.

As you can see, these seminars will cover new technologies affecting SIP trunking and unified communications, such as WebRTC and Q-TURN — areas which Ingate has plenty of experience with and actually spoke on during last month's WebRTC Conference and Expo.
