Voxbone Selected by NTT Communications

NTT Communications has selected Voxbone (News - Alert) to support new enterprise VoIP services.

As part of the pact, Voxbone, a major player providing worldwide, toll-free and geographically independent telephone numbers, will be offering international access numbers for NTT Communications’ (News - Alert) Arcstar SIP Trunking offering in Asia and the rest of the world.

Officials with Voxbone said that NTT Com has established an interconnection with the company’s network.

Company officials said that Voxbone provides international telephone numbers for NTT Com and its affiliate enterprise customers with offices outside of Japan. These numbers may be tied to a customer's existing PBX (News - Alert) infrastructure, or to NTT Com's SIP gateway using the Arcstar SIP Trunking solution.

"When service providers of NTT Com's caliber want to expand the value and reach of their multinational services, they turn to Voxbone," said Itay Rosenfeld CEO, Voxbone, in a statement.

Rosenfeld said that the company’s international numbers will help NTT Com strengthen its competitive position in the Asia Pacific region and the rest of the world by offering enterprises a high-quality, convenient and cost-effective way to do business.

Earlier in June, Knowlarity Communications had announced that it will use Voxbone DID numbers to provide cloud-based VoIP services to small and medium businesses throughout India and the rest of the world.

Consistently ranked as one of the Asia-Pacific’s fastest-growing companies, with funding from Sequoia Capital (News - Alert), Knowlarity cloud services enable businesses to reduce communications costs, improve customer service and enhance their competitive position.

Knowlarity will use Voxbone international DID numbers to link incoming calls all over the world to its hosted PBX system “Super Receptionist.” The service replaces legacy branch exchanges for small and medium businesses and adds functionalities such as intelligent call routing and CRM integration.

Knowlarity is the latest Indian service provider to select Voxbone numbers. Other customers include Sify (News - Alert) Technologies, which has used Voxbone since 2011 to provide worldwide geographical and toll-free telephone numbers.
