Telephone Magic Offers Businesses Avaya's i2000 IP Phone Series

Telephone Magic Inc. is now offering Avaya’s i2000 IP phone series to businesses that own Avaya BCM, Communication Serverhope or legacy Nortel systems. The company is leveraging Nortel Avaya 2000 IP phones series and will make it easy for business owners using the IP-based Avaya Nortel BCM 50/450, and the legacy Nortel BCM 200/BCM 400 to introduce advanced IP phones within its telephony network.

In a statement, Jeff Jackson, president of Telephone Magic, said, "Avaya took over the Nortel platforms in 2009, including the BCM and Communications Server systems. For a few years Avaya continued to sell the BCM and Communication Server. The Nortel i2000 Series IP phones were also retained by Avaya. New Avaya 2000 series IP phones are available with the strength of Nortel's substantial networking technology. Re-manufactured Nortel i2000 series IP telephones are a cost-effective alternative to new VoIP phones. The fact Nortel phone system owners do not have to throw out their investment and start over is a huge win for our clients."

The Avaya Nortel 2007 IP phone features a 5.7-inch color touchscreen and has been designed to deliver multimedia presentation support to the desktop IP phone while the Virtual Network Computing technology delivers content in advanced text or graphical format. The Nortel IP Phone i2007 comes with a USB port, a standard USB mouse and keyboards allowing for “point-n-click” access and navigation.

The Avaya Nortel 2004 IP phone is an excellent tool for managers, executives and office administrators as the multi-line phone comes with a large LCD screen and is ideal for dealing with high call volumes. The Nortel Avaya 2004 IP connects to the LAN directly through a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet connection and offers easy management and comes with cost-effectives advantages. The feature-rich i2004 IP phone supports the IP Key Expansion Module.

The standards-based Avaya Nortel 2002 IP phone connects to the LAN directly through a RJ-45 connector; the feature-rich 2002 IP phone capable of supporting IP Key Expansion Module. The Nortel Avaya 2002 IP phone is ideal for enterprise and carrier platforms while the display-based IP Phone i2002 suits office professionals and technical specialists better who face moderate call volumes.

The Avaya Nortel 2001 IP phone has been designed as an entry level, single-line desktop IP telephone ideal for public use such as in cafeterias and hallways and hotel rooms. Standard features such as 802.3af Power over Ethernet, full bit-mapped, and 2x24 character display among other such options are available with the Nortel Avaya i2001 IP Phone.

The Nortel 2033 IP conference phone has been designed as a full duplex, hands-free conference phone designed for use small-to-medium size and managerial/executive businesses and offices. The 2033 IP Audio Conference Unit connects directly with the LAN through a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet connection.

The Avaya Nortel 2050 IP softphone can convert the PC for use as a full-featured platform supporting voice, data, and video communications. The i2050 softphone can be used either as a primary or supplemental desktop telephone, or even as a telecommuting tool. Once the software has been loaded, users simply have to plug a Nortel approved headset or plug the handset into the USB Audio Adapter port to enable communicating.

The Avaya Nortel Key Expansion Module for 2000 series IP phones can work with the version 2 versions of the 2002 and 2004 IP phones while the Nortel Avaya i2000 Series LCD KEM allows 24-Key programming and is a self labeling LCD expansion module. The Avaya Nortel 2000 IP Phones AC Power Supply delivers power support to the Avaya Nortel i2000 Series IP phones if the PoE is not available or is not compatible.
