Telinta Develops Auto-Provisioning Profiles for Aastra's 6700 Series SIP Phones

Aastra (News - Alert) recently announced that Telinta has developed Auto-Provisioning Profiles for the Aastra 6700 range of SIP phones. The combination of Telinta’s carrier-grade platform with high-quality Aastra phones will lead to ITSP customers benefiting from a competitive edge within a highly competitive market. In a release, Victor RoldÁn, Aastra’s Latin America Regional President said, “ITSPs need automated hosted solutions for deploying SIP phones in order to succeed in the highly competitive markets for hosted IP PBX (News - Alert), call centers and other business telephony services. Using Telinta’s Auto-Provisioning Profiles ITSPs will be able to automate large deployments of Aastra SIP phones over the cloud-based softswitch platform from Telinta. ITSPs will also be able to include phone provisioning and feature activation along with other processes and will benefit from easier management of their business through Telinta’s web-based interface.

By using the carrier-grade VoIP switching platform from Telinta, ITSPs will be able to create inventory of Aastra phones much faster. Anytime Aastra’s SIP phones connect with an IP network, they will also connect to Telinta’s provisioning servers automatically and will be able to quickly download a complete configuration. Telinta's automated solution has been designed to support even large deployments at any location across the globe. Because Aastra models are Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync optimized; they are compatible with Telinta’s automated solution.
