Voxox’s SIP trunking solution has been deemed compliant with key unified communications solutions from Avaya, a global provider of business collaboration and communications software and services. In particular, the Voxox SIP trunking solution has been compliance tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Aura Communication Manager 6.3 and Avaya Aura Session Manager 6.3.
Voxox has been described as “Skype on steroids” for its primary service delivery platform, which offers VoIP termination, origination, SMS, IP-PBX and SIP trunking services. Its SIP trunking solution offers businesses carrier-grade business VoIP services while decreasing their phone and Internet costs. With its new Avaya compliance, Voxox’s SIP trunking offering can now help a broader range of customers in this area.
This compliance also means Voxox is a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program, an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology, while extending the value of a company’s investment in its network.
“We are excited to join the Avaya ecosystem of DevConnect Technology Partners,” said Bryan Hertz, CEO of Voxox, in a statement. “Successful completion of DevConnect compliance-testing gives our customers and Avaya Connect channel partners confidence in the interoperability of our business solutions with Avaya Unified Communications solutions.”
As an Avaya Technology Partner, Voxox is eligible to submit further products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. At the lab, a team of Avaya engineers will put together a comprehensive test plan for each application in order to verify whether it is Avaya compatible. The end result is giving businesses definitive assurance that adding certain solutions and capabilities to their network will work correctly without the need to replace existing infrastructure.
“Technology Partners, like Voxox, are helping Avaya customers lower costs and increase profitability by providing comprehensive SIP trunking solutions. We are pleased to have Voxox join our developer community,” said Eric Rossman, vice president of Developer Relations at Avaya.
