RedSky Technologies, a provider of automated E911 solutions, unveiled version 6.3.5 of E911 Manager and E911 Anywhere, enterprise software and cloud solutions for E911.
The company’s full suite of on-premise and cloud-based software solutions and services enables organizations to capture, manage and deliver detailed location information in order to deliver optimum 9-1-1 emergency response and enhance safety and risk management. Workers, students, guests and visitors use RedSky for E911 protection.

According to officials the E911 Manager v6.3.5 offers support to Aruba RAP-3 remote access points. This will offer E911 support for remote Wi-Fi users who are connected to the enterprise voice network.
Also E911 Manager supports ALI location queries by leveraging HELD a 9-1-1 protocol, that lets E911 Manager to offer the functionalities of an ALI database that supports queries from PSAP workstations.
RedSky’s cloud-based 9-1-1 call routing service E911 Anywhere version 6.3.5 can support 9-1-1 calls from Microsoft Lync allowing 9-1-1 calls from Lync with embedded location capabilities. Also the calls can be routed to the correct PSAP depending on the location. E911 Anywhere supports 9-1-1 call recording with features like “listen-in” and “barge-in.”
These features allow enterprise security teams to monitor 9-1-1 calls more effectively. The Web-based MyE911 browser-based version of MyE911 lets end users to update locations in real-time and does not require a telephony administrator.
The Web-based MyE911 enables the use of VPN hard phones, softphones running on tablets, Web RTC and other applications.
In September 2013, RedSky completed interoperability verification testing with its own E911 Manager and Cisco’s Wi-Fi infrastructure. This compatibility between E911 Manager with Wi-Fi E911and Cisco mobility service engine (MSE) ensures that the real-time location information of a Wi-Fi phone user in need is accurately routed along with the 9-1-1 call to emergency call takers who can send help.
