Easy On Hold Launches First Customizable Streaming Service for Hosted and Non-hosted VoIP Phones

Easy On Hold, a leading provider of professional telephone recordings, music and on hold message productions, has announced the launch of its first customizable streaming service, message and music on hold. The architecture offers a better on hold experience for callers; real-time updates; sophisticated scheduling features for end users; and functionality for hosted as well as non-hosted VOIP phones.

In a release, Tim Brown is the founder and technical director at Easy On Hold, said, “We can now provide our customers with their own stream of customized 30- to 60-second spots each mixed with their own music track. When assembled into our streaming architecture, the spots play back randomly for a unique listening experience every time, like a Pandora (News - Alert) channel, as opposed to a traditional, ordinary four minute loop that repeats exactly the same way every time. Or, our clients can choose to have the spots play back on a specific schedule, right down to the day, date and time each spot plays, and can even choose one spot to play more often than others for impact. This is ideal for a medical office announcing flu shots for a limited time, a retailer with an important sale, or a city announcing power outages in a certain area.

The solution is hands-free and ideal for multiple locations as all the updates and scheduling can be done at once in the cloud in real-time. The integration with the SIP-based customizable streaming adds a more personalized experience.
