Bowman Trailer Leasing Selects RingCentral to Communicate with Customers

RingCentral (News - Alert) Office is helping Bowman Trailer Leasing to efficiently communicate with customers across its 32 locations and remote workers throughout the East Coast of the United States.


Bowman Trailer Leasing is a regional provider of road trailers, storage trailers, and sea containers.

The company previously used separate on-premise Private Branch Exchange (PBX (News - Alert)) systems but is now using the integrated RingCentral Office cloud business communication solution to manage business communications across all its locations.

The traditional hardware-based system was expensive and required a large amount of money for its maintenance. RingCentral Office is easier to manage, more flexible than on-premise phone systems, and adapts to the unique needs of each business.

"We wanted to regain control of our phone system, and it made sense to leverage cloud technology to make that happen," said Mike Mullan, IT manager at Bowman Trailer Leasing. "RingCentral enables us to provide better customer experience by implementing a powerful auto-receptionist and is also a cost-effective choice, saving us at least $95,000 annually."

Bowman Trailer Leasing is using the integrated RingCentral Office cloud business communication solution to manage its employees and locations from a single mobile-friendly interface.

Most of the company’s employees are working remotely and leverage the RingCentral Mobile App for effective business communication leading to better productivity and customer service.

"We have purchased smartphones for everyone in the company, so now by utilizing the RingCentral Mobile App, our employees can assist customers even if they are on the road or working on equipment in the yard," added Mullan.

RingCentral was in news last month for receiving a 2014 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award from global, integrated media company TMC (News - Alert).
