QLOOG, Inc. has recently been selected by Schmooze (News - Alert) Com, Inc. as the first and only authorized reseller of Schmooze products and services in Japan.
The new partnership with Schmooze Com will enable QLOOG to offer full Japanese translation of FreePBX open source communications software to its customers.
"FreePBX has become our go-to platform for creating feature-rich and customized solutions for clients," said Kazuhiro Arao, CEO of QLOOG. "This partnership is not only about new opportunities - it's also a sign of our commitment to offering a robust and open PBX (News - Alert) solution that is fine-tuned to the Japanese market."
FreePBX is developed and maintained by Schmooze Com and a global community of contributors. This pioneering solution is currently used by one million users worldwide. The company has also developed many Pro modules; FreePBX certified appliances, SIPStation and SIP trunks, to expand the capabilities of the FreePBX Distro.
The company is proud about the fact that its service offerings will include the world's first commercial FreePBX support to be offered in both Japanese and English from this month onwards.
The company has also initiated the development of "FoNEX,” a Japan-centric IP-PBX platform, which contains the proven open-source code base of FreePBX combined with extra commercial features. This solution is custom-made for Japanese business customers. FoNEX will be available with full integration with QLOOG's own existing call center management and predictive dialing software solutions.
QLOOG is a VoIP service provider based in Kobe, Japan serving more than 300 businesses with 40,000 active extensions, and also offers services including call-center construction, global inter-site communications, and disaster recovery server solutions.
The company has announced that the FreePBX Japanese translation is currently available under the open-source GPLv2 license from the official FreePBX code repository.
