One Horizon Monetizes Voice and Data Traffic with VoIP Solutions

One Horizon Group is helping carriers monetize voice and data traffic with its VoIP solutions.

The company develops and licenses a bandwidth efficient mobile voice over Internet Protocol platform for smart phones. Its VoIP software and services is also optimizing carriers’ network and is providing turnkey, agile, and innovative software to keep operators well-positioned in the competitive VoIP market.

“Considering smartphones use 24 times more data than traditional feature phones, demand for data is ever-increasing but monetization of these data services is not currently benefitting the operators,” said Brian Collins, founder and CTO of One Horizon.

One Horizon's white label turnkey software is designed to help operators optimize VoIP calls through their mobile app instead of using one from an OTT provider.

This optimization is said to deliver several benefits such as attracting new customers, reducing churn, and getting good return on investment on mobile networks.

“Our software will enable carriers to provide their own mobile app and features thus providing carriers with a more secured customer relationship and new stream of revenue,” added Collins.

One Horizon Group has also announced the appointment of Robert P. Vogler to its Board of Directors. The company’s board has four independent and three executive board members with this appointment.

Vogler is a successful executive, business owner, and the chairman of the board of Kreivo AG since 1974.
