IP telephony has been a top choice amongst businesses as a communications solution for its cost-effective features, and it has become the hub of most business processes. Using IP telephony means saving money versus using traditional phone lines, but in order to use IP telephony more efficiently, using IP phones can mean getting the most out of your system.
This is a major highlight at TMC’s (News - Alert) ITEXPO Miami, where some of the biggest names in telecommunications come to demonstrate their wares and solutions for businesses in search of the perfect combo of technology to streamline their communications needs.
IP phone provider Escene was on the showroom floor this year showcasing its line of IP phones. At previous ITEXPO (News - Alert) events, the company demonstrated its ES290 and Public Broadcast IP phone and how these handsets offer a bevy of features to get the most out of IP telephony.
Mike Liu of Escene told TMC that what keeps the company ahead of the competition is its competitive pricing and its strong tech support. Liu showed the different kinds of IP phones available, depending on how many lines were necessary and even a handset designed specifically for call center functions.
The call center phone, IP phone CC800/CC800-P, features 2 100BASE-T ethernet interfaces, support POE power supply and 128 x64 graphic dot matrix display, as well as 5 lines shows.
Businesses can see a lot in savings when using IP phones, not to mention they are designed with ergonomics and plenty of features, giving users easy access to the advanced desktop applications enabled by an IP system.
Perhaps 2014 is the year that companies will resolve to ditch overpriced, complicated phone systems and switch to a platform that is more efficient, cost-effective and beneficial. With IP telephony offering the features that it does, it’s no wonder that businesses of all sizes are making the switch and using IP phones like those from Escene to make it all work.
