Telinta provides switching and billing solutions for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service providers. They are white labeled, scalable and cloud-based. Providers and resellers can provide varied VoIP services as well.
“Basically, this is a cloud-based solution that lets anyone, large or small, offer their own VoIP solution to end users,” Anthony Stiso, vice president of marketing and sales at Telinta, told TMC’s (News - Alert) Paula Bernier at ITEXPO Miami. There is no need to purchase, operate or maintain switching hardware or software.
“With Telinta a customer needs to purchase no infrastructure, no hardware, no software,” Stiso adds. “Basically, it’s a hosted platform, which means it’s very scalable, very cost-effective.”
Another benefit is that Telinta offers round-the-clock tech support – which sets the company apart from others in the sector. “Any day of the year there is a live engineer that’s there to help our customers – if they have questions, problems,” Stiso said.
A Telinta executive led two panel discussions during ITEXPO (News - Alert). One panel was “Putting Together the Pieces for a Successful VoIP Business.” The other was “VoIP in Latin America.” The sessions were moderated by Stiso, and included top executives from snom, TransferTo and Voxbone (News - Alert).
During the show, Telinta also unveiled its new TeliGlobe mobile softphone application for iOS and Android operating systems. The company, during the trade show, also announced a partnership with Centric Mobility, a provider of SMS services.
Gustavo Kuster, Telinta’s regional sales director for Latin America, provided a demonstration of the Class 4 and Class 5 switching and billing platform, and the company teamed with snom to demonstrate a platform’s capabilities using snom model 720 phones.
Company officials had many praises for the ITEXPO program and trade show. “Telinta was more active than ever at this year’s ITEXPO,” commented Alex Ferdman, CEO of Telinta. “ITEXPO was a great opportunity for us to work side-by-side with our partners, meet customers face-to-face, and answer questions about how Telinta can help VoIP service providers to succeed.”
