Can Safe Communications Happen in a Unified Environment?

Staying connected – it’s an ongoing challenge in this global economy. It doesn’t mean the options aren’t available; it simply means there’s so many, how do you pick the best for your company and your employees?

This is a common question in the age of distributed workforces and increased access to mobile solutions. Employees are asking for Bring Your Own Device permissions and CIOs are wanting to crack down on communication spend. Balancing the two with efficient collaboration and real-time communications is easier said than done.

In Latin America, Denwa is making it happen. The company has been offering next generation network solutions since 2002 and is considered ISO 90001 certified in production and marketing. Numerous awards have been showered on this group for offerings such as their Unified Messaging Solutions, IP-PBX and softswitches.

The company focuses much of its reach in the market through partnerships with key players like AudioCodes (News - Alert). The resulting ecosystem creates opportunities for application developers and strategic alliances. It allows Denwa to deliver the solutions customers need, regardless of their level of operation or placement in the market.

Denwa’s Premium solution is designed specifically for enterprises and carriers, providing a key component to the migration of modern business communications. Firewall and Session Border Controller (E-SBC) standard in its IP-PBX (News - Alert) ensures the security and ease of management for all data services and telephony. The E-SBC is designed for safety, survivability, interoperability and even quality control, all of which are necessary when using SIP protocol.

The E-SBC also acts as the point of demarcation between the business’s VoIP network and the SIP-based offering from the service provider, whether it’s hosted Unified Communications (News - Alert) applications or SIP Trunking. It also supports connectivity for SIP-based extensions to solve challenging NAT traversal issues that can halt telecommuting.

As companies increasingly look to unify their communications across the board, many are turning to companies like Denwa to understand exactly what should be unified and how to approach it from the corporate level so that it not only works, but that it keeps the protection of the network at the forefront. To explore it in more detail, the Denwa spent some time in the TMC (News - Alert) newsroom at ITEXPO with Erik Linask.

While they tackled some of the more challenging questions pertaining to unified communications, they also explored the opportunities in the market for Denwa and what the company is planning for the future. To capture their conversation in full, check out this ITEXPO video.
