Vertical Communications Opens "Wave Answers" 24/7 Support Portal for Wave IP Communications Users

Vertical Communications, a provider of appliance-based unified communications, enterprise mobility, and IP telephony solutions, has recently introduced a self-service technical support portal called Wave Answers, for its Wave IP Unified Communications platform users.


“We’re always looking to invest in new technologies and services for our customers that enhance the overall experience of Vertical’s unified communications solutions,” said Steven De Korne, Vertical’s vice president of marketing.

Users can log on to www.waveanswers.com to make use of the new platform which offers variety of resources related to the Wave IP communications system. In addition, users can find answers in the form of short videos, with click-by-click instructions on how to use the most popular Wave IP features and applications.

Users can also type in a keyword or words and select one of the pre-populated questions in the search function to see all the video answers related to that topic. Users who are on the go can make use of this new platform by downloading it on their mobile. This feature helps them watch and search videos when they are travelling.

“The Wave Answers portal delivers an easy, convenient, and always-accessible way for end users to receive on-the-spot information and training that best serves their needs. The immediate access to tutorials and system information allows our customers to become much more self-sufficient and productive, and helps reduce calls to a help desk or field-based technician,” Steven De Korne added.

The company has categorized the video tutorials as per its type, applications, features and functionalities of the system, such as its Viewpoint desktop and Contact Center applications, as well as Vertical IP and digital phones.

According to De Korne, Vertical will offer other automated tutorial services in the near future, including “Wave Help,” an online version of the latest Wave IP technical manuals for authorized Wave IP service technicians and system administrators.
