Polycom VVX 500 & Polycom VVX 400 Phones Hits the Market

Easy to manage VoIP phones are in demand and Polycom (News - Alert) VVX phones is one among the lot that comes with features ranging from HD voice, video and content sharing, to interoperability with SIP and H.323 phone and video systems.


IP Phone Warehouse, an online reseller, has announced that availability of VVX 500 and VVX 400 phones, designed specifically for busy professionals looking for high performance from their VoIP solutions.

Polycom VVX phones are all-in-one desktop solutions that are easily accessible with large displays and context-sensitive keys. Models with touchscreens make operation even simpler. The newly released in the series are Polycom VVX 500 phone and Polycom VVX 400 phone, both compatible with SIP and other standard protocols.

The new Polycom VVX 500 video phone is a VoIP phone, featuring HD voice, a full duplex speakerphone and the capability for local 3-way conferencing. Users have an option to connect a compatible headset and EHS cable to the phone's USB or RJ9 port for hands-free calling.

Additionally, the Polycom VVX 500 poses an attractive interface and has large full-color touchscreen. Users can manage their calendar using the screen, Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange applications and other features. The screen can also be used for video conferencing by plugging a camera into one of the phone's USB ports. Even more UC and productivity tools are available to the Polycom VVX 500 when it's connected to the desktop PC.

The Polycom VVX 400 features HD voice, SIP interoperability and is expandable. Users can use up to 12 line appearances to manage calls, while the available attendant consoles give the phone more control over extensions and more. Users can connect a headset to the RJ9 port for hands-free telephony.

Also, users can easily connect a PC to the Polycom VVX 400 and take benefit of a web-based GUI. UC interoperability extends to integration with third-party apps, live weather and other data reporting, or just sending a quick message to coworkers.
