Polska Group Leverages ARRIS E6000 Converged Edge Router to Deploy Converged Services

The ARRIS E6000 Converged Edge Router will hereon enable Multimedia Polska Group to seamlessly enhance its capability to realize upgraded channel density and readiness for deploying converged services.

The ARRIS E6000 features simple, robust integrated architecture, which should streamline Polska’s effort to offer new levels of density and cost-effectiveness in its high-performance broadband service, and also to ensure that its subscribers receive outstanding TV viewing experience.

Polska was already using the ARRIS C4 CMTS solution, which ensures high-performance for advanced, carrier-grade voice, high-speed data, and IPTV (News - Alert) services. The company wanted an upgrade that delivered hitless cable access module (CAM) fail-over, a fully redundant design with no single point of failure and hot-swappable cards, and the E6000 satisfied all its requirements. 

According to ARRIS, its E6000 Converged Edge Router (CER) continues the highly successful legacy of the C4 CMTS and delivers new levels of density and cost-effectiveness for high-density markets in a simple, robust integrated architecture. The E6000 CER provides a high-availability, high performance solution with high scalability, and all of its elements are redundant and hot-swappable, which adds up to 99.999 percent system availability.
