Toshiba Announces 'Trade Up with Toshiba' Program

The cost benefits and superiority of IP telephone systems over the traditional systems are well known. But many companies still hesitate from taking the plunge to IP technology because of the costs involved and also because they do not know what do with their old systems.

Toshiba (News - Alert) is making the shift to IP and cloud systems all the easier and financially viable. The company has unveiled its new "Trade Up with Toshiba" program, wherein customers can exchange legacy Toshiba business telephone systems and get new Toshiba IP and cloud business telephone solutions. They get to save a significant amount of money with this deal, the company claims.

Toshiba's legacy Strata DK, Strata CTX and Strata CIX systems are eligible for this offer. Users can trade these systems for Toshiba's VIPedge cloud-based business telephone solution as well as Toshiba's IPedge and Strata CIX670/100 on-premises business telephone systems. The program will run up to 30^th September, 2014 and users can take advantage of this program until then.

Systems traded under this program become the property of Toshiba dealers. These will have the responsibility to recycle these systems in a responsible manner, Toshiba has stated.

Toshiba's telephone promotions give users the benefit of an affordable, business telephone solution with a significant savings on telephone costs.”

Toshiba has been promoting VoIP services for many years. In 2010, the company partnered with Newroads Telecom to make Newroads Business SIP Trunking interoperable with Toshiba's family of Strata CIX IP business communication systems.
