SolarWinds, a provider of powerful and affordable IT management software, has added support for Avaya (News - Alert) VoIP solutions.
The company has released its proactive VoIP quality of service management solution, SolarWinds VoIP & Network Quality Manager to this end.
The new VoIP management solution will help businesses to get detailed insight into the network's impact on Avaya VoIP call quality.
Avaya voice engineers can leverage this solution to address the source of call issues and maintain optimal performance of their business-critical communication systems.
Other benefits provided by the solution are proactive VoIP call quality monitoring and WAN performance monitoring.
It also delivers advanced troubleshooting for call issues, identifies common VoIP issues between two IP phones and correlates them to underlying network performance.
"With SolarWinds (News - Alert) VoIP & Network Quality Manager's powerful VoIP and call quality monitoring, voice engineers can quickly view critical VoIP performance metrics alongside key network performance metrics, giving them instant visibility into what is causing poor call quality without the guesswork," said Chris LaPoint, vice president of product management, SolarWinds.
Pricing for SolarWinds VoIP & Network Quality Manager starts at $1,495 and includes the first year of maintenance. The solution also supports Cisco (News - Alert) CallManager solutions and integrates into SolarWinds' portfolio of network management solutions.
SolarWinds provides IT management software to customers worldwide from Fortune 500 enterprises to small businesses. The company was in news earlier this month for announcing the release of SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM).
This solution has added new, enterprise-class deep packet inspection (DPI) and analysis technology to troubleshoot network performance on application latency.
In addition, the new release allows network engineers to quickly and easily identify network and application response time issues which eventually results in improved end-user quality of experience and continuity of operations for businesses.
