Comings & Goings: AltiGen Communications Welcomes New Board of Directors

AltiGen Communications, Inc., a provider of premise and cloud-based IP-PBX (News - Alert) and Contact Center solutions, has recently welcomed two new directors, Mr. McDermott and Mr. Antellocy, to its board. 

With more than 10,000 customers around the world, AltiGen (News - Alert) solutions specializes in offering solution particularly designed for high reliability, ease of use, seamless integration to Microsoft infrastructure technologies, and are built on a scalable, open standards platform.

By expanding the team of Board of Directors, AltiGen Communications hopes that the new members will directly manage the aggressive expansion plans they envision for their direct sales and service business.

"We are pleased to welcome Philip and Joe to our Board," said Jeremiah Fleming, AltiGen's President and CEO.

The new member to board, Mr. McDermott is presently the Chief Financial Officer at AltiGen. He has been working with the company since 1999, and has tremendous knowledge in the communications industry.

Previous to AltiGen, Mr. McDermott worked for 3Com (News - Alert) Corporation as Director of Finance America Sales for 3 years. He also served as a VP of Finance, Operations, and Administration for Chipcom Corporation. In addition, Mr. McDermott is accredited with Management Account certification from the Society of Management Accounting in Montreal, Canada.

The other member, Mr. Antellocy with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Data Processing from Bloomsburg University, works as a Senior Partner at Affinity Insurances and is also the CEO of Trevconn Enterprises. Previous to this, Mr. Antellocy was SVP of Alliance Management for Fiserv's Credit Union Division.

Fleming said that Philip's in-depth financial acumen will greatly augment the board and provide key support as they execute their business strategy moving forward.

“Joe's extensive business knowledge and leadership experience will prove invaluable to help guide AltiGen as we explore new opportunities and develop existing strategies to advance AltiGen's growth in the years ahead," Fleming added.

In related news, AltiGen Communications recently launched its web-based service ordering and management portal for MaxCS Private Cloud services.
