DSCI Acquires Unified Technologies

DSCI, a hosted communications provider, recently announced the acquisition of Unified Technologies, a provider of managed IT and hosted VoIP services headquartered in Portland, Maine. The acquisition is a part of DSCI’s expansion plan into the New York City metro area.
DSCI recently announced that it plans to establish its presence in New York. The company even opened a regional sales office to serve the New York City metro area, headed by a newly-hired Vice President of Sales, Carl Moore. The company wanted businesses and organizations throughout the New York metro area to benefit from DSCI's suite of business-class communications services, backed by an industry-best 100 percent network uptime guarantee and 24/7/365 live-answer customer support.
The officials from DSCI said the acquisition of Unified Technologies will strengthen the company’s presence in southern Maine market. DSCI was looking for a well-established local business partner to enter Portland and it feels it can achieve greater heights with Unified Technologies.
