Vitelity to Showcase Virtual Communications Solutions

Asterisk (News - Alert) is a free and open source framework for building communications applications. It is regarded as one of the most influential open source telecommunication projects in use today. AstriCon is an event that focuses on the vast array of conference sessions that helps attendees to learn about Asterisk.
AstriCon 2014, held from October 22-24, in Las Vegas will have Vitelity (News - Alert), a provider of communications expertise offering products and services including VoIP, fax, and hosting, as a gold sponsor.
As a gold sponsor, Vitelity is planning to participate in the security thought leadership panel. Christopher Brown, senior director of information at Vitelity will be participating in the panel.
At the event,Vitelity will present its virtual communications solutions including VoIP, vFax, VitelCloud, and vMobile, and so on.
“Vitelity is an active member of the Asterisk community and we are pleased to have a primary presence at AstriCon 2014,” noted Jeannie Zaemes, director of marketing, Vitelity.
“We are able to highlight our new and innovative solutions and to network with customers, prospects, and potential partners,” added Zaemes.
Vitelity recently launched vMobile, a service that provides complete integration between the vMobile smart phone and any SIP-enabled PBX (News - Alert) telephone system. Without relying on data, Wi-Fi, call forwarding or downloaded apps, Vitelity is able to bring this integration via vMobile. An additional feature of vMobile is its ability to switch between Wi-Fi and cellular, optimizing access for users. Using this technology, customers can cut mobile phone spending by as much as 75 percent, noted the company.
AstriCon 2014 will cover keynote and session presentations as well as interactive panels including the latest news and project updates, technical discussions, and networking opportunities to help attendees meet potential collaborators and discuss case studies of Asterisk projects.
