Alteva has long been recognized as one of the top providers of hosted Unified Communications (News - Alert) in the world. The company took another step towards truly being the king of the hill through a new partnership with Level 3 Communications, a Fortune 500 company that provides local, national and global communications services to enterprise companies and government entities.

Alteva (News - Alert) has already had a success story in the form of Focus Pointe Global. Focus Pointe Global is a company that had previously had issues with their incumbent carrier. The carrier had supplied the company with their WAN network as well as their VoIP phone system. Focus Pointe decided they wanted to leave their carrier but knew it needed both those solutions replaced in order to make it worth it to leave. The partnership between Alteva and Level 3 offered what Focus Pointe was looking for in its next supplier and carrier.

"Working with reliable, best-in-class vendors was a huge relief over our past experiences," said Robert Stephens, Chief Information Officer, Focus Pointe Global in a recent release. "Both Alteva and Level 3 bring a level of professionalism and reliability that we had been missing.”

The firms were able to communicate well and come up with a superior way to achieve what Focus Pointe’s desired goals. Level 3 higher ups announced that they were able to work with Alteva and Focus Pointe to get a true hosted UC solution that actually simplifies their network management.

Alteva has said that the company sees real value in the partnership it has struck with Level 3 in order to offer even better UC communication solutions that work to provide top of the line VoIP, and WAN platforms, among other business offerings.
