Snom Technology, a German manufacturer of Voice over IP (VoIP) telephones based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) standard, recently announced the expansion of its partnership with ABP (News - Alert) Technology, a global distributor of IP technology solutions. ADP has distributed Snom’s products throughout the United States for several years, and under the new agreement will expand its reach to include the company’s network in Canada.

“ABP is a great partner and supporter of Snom resellers in the Americas," said Tom Ostrander, President of North American Sales at Snom Technology Inc. “This expanded relationship showcases the strength of our product portfolio in North America. Purchasing Snom products through ABP Tech gives Canadian based customers peace of mind, knowing they are investing in high-quality equipment backed by first-class customer support and expertise from a highly respected Snom partner.”

Snom boasts an extensive portfolio of IP phones. One of the most attractive characteristics of these products is the fact that they are entirely based on the open SIP standard. The company has also developed acclaimed IP Phone software.

“We are excited to bring Snom products to the Canadian marketplace,” said Robert Messer (News - Alert), President of ABP Tech. “Snom phones are recognized for their crisp voice quality, rich features and flexibility. With our distribution and marketing skills, combined with the support of Snom, we will establish a durable business presence in Canada.”

Snom’s products are distributed to more than 25,000 Value Added Resellers and its network only continues to grow. The company has supplied over four million end-point installations to its professional and enterprise customers around the world.
