Avtex (News - Alert), long considered one of the better providers of integrated Customer Experience solutions has just announced it has acquired Digital Voice Systems (DVS). DVS is a contact center, CRM and enterprise communications solution provider that is based in Chicago, Illinois. Avtex, which has a number of accolades of its own, including the ability to boast that it is a Microsoft (News - Alert) Gold Partner, is getting a firm that has been delivering award winning CX solutions throughout North America over the last 25 years.

This acquisition brings two of the top ININ partner’s together, incorporating exceptional talent and further strengthening our technical capabilities,” George Demou, president & CEO of Avtex said in a recent statement. “Everything we do is focused on one goal: to deliver the very best customer experience to our clients customers, our innovation and technical know-how help us accomplish this. We are very excited to welcome the DVS talented team to Avtex.”

DVS, while winning those award over the last two decades, has also established itself as a firm that is an Elite Partner with ININ. DVS was ININ’s third largest volume client in 2014. This kind of client is why DVS had become so attractive to Avtex. The terms of the deal haven’t been announced but the two firms are both going to exist in some form or another. One of the reasons that Avtex decided to purchase DVS is because the company wanted access to its client list. It doesn’t appear Avtex is about to jeopardize that client list by getting rid of DVS altogether. Tom Parrott, the president and founder of DVS believes that purchase of his company is going to provide a great opportunity both to the clients of DVS as well as the people who have worked at DVS, according to the same statement.
