Avotus Corporation has achieved a milestone in the unified communications (UC) realm, successfully reaching compatibility certification with the Cisco (News - Alert) Unified Communications Manager, 10.5. The company’s Intelligent Communications Management – Usage Management Enhanced Reporting software has been certified with Cisco as part of Avotus’ (News - Alert) participation in Cisco’s Solution Partner Program.

The certification signifies that Avotus can create and deploy solutions to capitalize on the Internet of Everything (IoE) movement in a quick and efficient manner. Specifically, the company’s Usage Management offering is geared toward helping telecom managers capture and organize network data across multiple sites and vendors for analysis and intelligence.

The solution works with Cisco by enabling fixed, mobile and UC services to be managed within the offering, giving Cisco customers visibility, security and compliance within their telecom environments. This is achieved through more than 200 Usage Management dashboards, reports and graphs.

"This partnership with Cisco conveys our commitment to bringing visibility, big data management and security enhancements to the most popular SIP-based platforms,” said James Martino (News - Alert), CEO of Avotus. “As enterprise clients migrate from TDM to VoIP platforms, Avotus stands ready to ensure that they maintain the necessary management tools and visibility into their new platforms, while enabling them to integrate old and new in one global holistic software portal."

Avotus also recently partnered with BroadSoft (News - Alert), making its Usage Management for Cloud Reporting solution available in the BroadSoft Marketplace. That means the offering integrates seamlessly with the BroadWorks UC platform, providing advanced levels of call accounting and reporting.

Avaya (News - Alert) is another longtime Avotus partner, and its Usage Management works with the Avaya Aura Session Manager as well as the Avaya Aura Communication Manager.
