Panamax, developer of the iMax telecom switching platform, recently announced the launch of its Carrier Self-Care Portal which provides a central control unit for wholesale VoIP.

With Carrier Self-Care, telecoms can manage all aspects of their VoIP businesses. It covers online ordering, payments, marketing and reporting to simplify operations and help create better experiences for end users. Bankim Brahmbhatt, the CEO of Panamax, commented in the company announcement that the goal of this release is, ultimately, to get carriers ahead of the competition while also saving them money.

“An extension of our award-winning carrier switching solution, the iMax Carrier Self-Care Portal sets Panamax apart from other providers, while generating a significant edge for carriers operating within today’s dynamic marketplace,” Brahmbhatt said. “With immediate access to our portal, users will start terminating their wholesale minutes instantly, putting them ahead of their competition when it comes to cost savings, revenue growth, and business efficiencies.”

The basic iMax platform allows carriers to buy and sell routes between one another. It natively handles call routing, network and policy management, billing, and security through a built-in firewall. Panamax has shown expertise in its field, and iMax has taken home a TMC (News - Alert) IT Innovation Award for its ease of use, universal operation on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and range of features including a dashboard, online chat and payment handling features.

The Carrier Self-Care Portal adds even more functionality to the base platform. Telecoms now have the ability to share account details with their customers and handle the entire purchase/sales process through that portal. Reports can benefit sales teams in future operations because they can look at the history of their operations and make any necessary changes. In addition to buying and selling routes, this is everything a telecom needs to succeed in switching routes.
