ANPI has brought in a new Northeast Channel Manager in the form of Brad Nichols.

Nichols had previously been in the unified communications (UC) field, spending over 10 years therein and gathering a great deal of skill representing collaboration products. That made him a great fit for ANPI, which was looking to augment sales of the ANPI VIP Hosted UC solution. Since Nichols was familiar with not only UC but also with the territory that made up the northeast channel, he was an especially viable candidate to join ANPI.

Likewise, ANPI proved a good fit for Nichols. Nichols was reportedly interested in not only ANPI's product line, but also its partner program and the company in general. Since ANPI has quickly climbed the ranks to become a leader in the hosted UC field after just a few months—it's also taken home a slate of Product of the Year awards in the process—it's clear that the company is eager to take a leadership role in the wider market.

Perhaps more interestingly, Nichols himself noted that the company's network stability was a big part of why he wanted to join ANPI. He added that, as his career had started in operations, he understood what partners went through. That understanding brought him to ANPI, which impressed him with the company's devotion to “. . . doing things the right way,” and ANPI's nationwide IP network, along with its automated provisioning systems, proved particularly attractive.

The new roster move makes sense because ANPI is looking to bolster its presence in the northeast channel, and Nichols seems to know and understand the unique needs of that region. It's a safe bet that this will pay off all around, as ANPI puts Nichols' skills and experience in the northeast channel to work. Furthermore, it's good to see that ANPI appears to be as passionate about Nichols as Nichols was about ANPI; that's a combination that should add up to benefit for all concerned, and particularly, for those doing business with Nichols and ANPI.
