The business communication marketplace – and really the entire digital marketplace - relies on having the right technological relationships with other vendors to deliver the integrated solutions that are needed in today’s ecosystem. Because of the many disparate hardware, software and systems organizations deploy, interoperability is extremely important to get rid of any incompatibility that may arise between vendors. G12 Communications, a cloud-based provider of unified communication (UC) services, announced its SIP Trunking solution and the Mitel (News - Alert) MiVoice Office 250 Release 6 business communications platform has been granted Mitel-Compatible Test certification.

Mitel is a global enterprise and mobile communications provider that delivers more than 2 billion business connections and 2 billion mobile subscribers daily. With more than 60 million business users in more than 100 countries, and 130 mobile service providers including 15 of the top 20 mobile carriers in the world, the company has a considerable presence. Getting the Mitel-Compatible Test certification means G12 Communications now has more access.

The Mitel stamp of approval lets telecom value-added resellers, interconnects and IT firms know they can find advanced enterprise SIP Trunking with Mitel quality and support from G12.

"Mitel works with best-of-breed companies like G12 Communications to deliver complete solutions that address the business challenges of our customers," said David Lowenstein, Director of Business Development for Mitel Solutions Alliance.

G12 Communications' advanced SIP Trunking received multiple PBX (News - Alert) certifications in 2014, including Microsoft Lync 2013, making Mitel the latest industry leader to certify its platform.

The G12 SIP Trunking delivers the redundancy that is needed in today’s mission critical UC solutions. The platform is built on active-active geo-redundant network with dynamic failover. What this means for its customers is, they will have uptimes of 99.999 percent or more by detecting outages and instantly providing failover to a second data connection without administrators.

In addition to world class reliability, it also provides a highly secure protocol supporting G711U codec and other innovative technologies for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to changes that take place on an IP network. This includes fully encrypted signaling and media channels for routing communications securely over existing corporate Internet and data connections, as well as disaster recovery routing with dynamic failover.

"Our customer experience has been the foundation of our success. Certifying with Mitel for customers and partners further improves our customers' experience. Our customers expect a high quality, enterprise-grade SIP Trunking solution fully supported by their infrastructure partners like Mitel," said Rick Coma, G12 Communications CEO.
