The expansion of Jive Communications into different markets, either through acquisitions or partnerships, is not showing any signs of a slowdown. The company’s latest acquisition is Easy Office Phone, provider of cloud-based business phone service to companies of all sizes, based in Canada.
In the past year, Jive has been making key acquisitions and partnerships as part of its growth strategy. This includes the purchase of audio and Web conferencing vendor Speek in June of 2015; hosted VoIP providers COMVOICE and Vocalnet; and partnerships with Telarus and ITD solutions.
This has given Jive comprehensive communications solutions with a cloud architecture that has been built to deliver a flexible, scalable, reliable and economical hosted communication services for the enterprise market. The company’s cloud offering gives organizations access to enterprise grade cloud hosted VoIP from anywhere around the world.

In addition to bringing a large customer base in Canada, Easy Office also provides award-winning cloud-based business phone services, including Hosted PBX feature set, call center services and its own dealer program so clients can deliver their own enterprise-grade Hosted PBX to their customers. The company has a continent-wide network covering North America.
The Easy Office Phone Managed Internet is designed with an architecture to deliver a range of services with business security for voice and data applications with a nationwide private network layer to protect the information and simplify file sharing. The company also delivers a business continuity platform with multiple Internet paths and failover options that boost redundancy.
Easy Office will become part of the Jive Canada team, and it will receive support as needed from the Canadian and US operations. Jive will also onboard the 200 partners that are part of Easy Office, which include tens of thousands of hosted seats in North America covering retail, education, government, financial and not-for-profit segments.

The financial terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
