By Rory J. Thompson Web Editor

Ingate Systems AB is a Stockholm-based high-tech company that designs and develops firewall and Session Border Controller (SBC) technology to bring global person-to-person, multimedia real-time communication to everyone. SIP and WebRTC enables not only IP telephony but Unified Communications (UC) such as presence, Instant Messaging, video conferencing with telepresence quality and IP-PBX connections.

With a history in security, Ingate offers enterprises of all sizes, service providers and carriers some elegant solutions that make trusted SIP communications possible beyond the LAN. Ingate products are delivered both as hardware appliances as well as software for integration on to standalone servers or as applications for virtual machines.

So as part of its ongoing effort to evangelize its work, Ingate has been appearing at TMC’s ITEXPO for numerous years. This year, at ITEXPO Anaheim 2015, Khris Kendrick -- VP of business development and sales at Ingate – sat down with TMC’s Paula Bernier for an update on what the company is doing and where it’s going.

Kendrick was asked what keeps them coming back.

“A lot of good things are happening in the seminar that people are starting to realize,” he said, “and I think this is a record attendance this year. It’s going to be well received.”

He also revealed that Ingate was announcing some new products at the show.

“We just announced our five-dot-six software, which has a ton of great features for the enterprise and service providers,” he said, adding “We are one of the best when it comes to ROI.”

Ingate also announced a number of new partners that it will be doing business with, as both resellers and distributors.

In addition, Kendrick spoke a bit about the company’s moving into new areas, acknowledging that “WebRTC and virtualization go together,” and explaining in detail what Ingate was doing in that arena.
