Without Differentiation, VoIP Providers Can't Survive

With the company’s latest product launch, those interested in starting their own telco will have access to the necessary tools and resources. The turnkey solution enables 2talk to stand apart from the competition. Considering the fact that 2talk’s platform is also connected with 80 other telecom companies around the world, access to solutions is extensive.

To expand on the latest this company is going in the marketplace, CEO Wayne Toddum joined Diana Bishop in the TMC newsroom at ITEXPO. His primary focus tends to be on differentiation, a point service providers should take to heart. As VoIP continues to be in demand, it’s becoming more attractive for companies offering complimentary services to actually get in the game with their own solution. Without a clear focus on how to set themselves apart from the thousands of other solutions and providers in the market, however, they stand the chance of doing very little in the way of gaining market share.

Toddum explains, “Seems to be quite a lot of consolidation in industry. We notice that not only in the U.S. but also in other countries. Companies have to be able to differentiate themselves to succeed in this market and voice is becoming another application…I think there will be more consolidation in the market and particularly people who don’t have clear point of differentiation will struggle.”
