Ingate Systems' Lineup Lands in VoIP Supply Portfolio

By Steve Anderson Contributing Writer

VoIP Supply has long been known for its voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) hardware, and most recently, it's added on to its CloudSpan Marketing platform, helping users get connected with the best in connectivity services. VoIP Supply recently augmented its hardware lineup as well, bringing in Ingate Systems' SIPerator/Firewall enterprise session border controllers (E-SBC).

With Ingate's lineup in hand, VoIP Supply can offer a robust solution for businesses looking to diversify communications. Since the SIPerator line comes in both hardware and software formats, it offers up an incredible versatility for users. Throw in a wide variety of features and what's regarded as a great price by many users, and VoIP Supply's reasons behind the move make much more sense.

Ingate Systems SIPerators, as a hardware solution, offers three size ranges with support for a maximum of 20,000 concurrent call sessions. The software version, meanwhile, stops at 2,000 concurrent sessions, making it ideal for smaller offices and those who have decided to run virtual machine setups.

Regardless of whether software or hardware is used, all SIPerator systems come with built-in security features, routing options, firewall/NAT traversal options and diagnostic features that connect to Quality of Service (QoS) operations. Those who turn to the larger, hardware-based options can even get a note of disaster planning, as these platforms come with a 48 VDC power option that allows for battery backup.

As VoIP Supply's founder and CEO Benjamin Sayers pointed out, Ingate Systems' platforms will fit well with VoIP Supply's recently-augmented CloudSpan Marketplace. Ingate Systems, in turn, is pleased with its new partnership, as its president Steven Johnson noted the company was “...proud to have been selected by VoIP Supply, a leading VoIP solutions provider well-known in the telecom industry for excellent products and outstanding service.

What's particularly exciting here is that VoIP Supply has been making a lot of moves lately, and most of these moves will only enhance its overall standing with customers. It's already been spotted offering connectivity services in-house, so for it to continue to augment its hardware line as well—though SIPerator also comes in a software version—the end result is a bigger, better offering. The more VoIP Supply can offer, the more value it presents toward its customer base. With a better value for the customers, it's more likely that word will spread and new customers will arrive to have a look at what VoIP Supply can offer.

VoIP Supply has already demonstrated a lot of value for its customers, offering supplies and service alike. Now it's stepped up its supply offerings, and that's making VoIP Supply an even greater force in the market.
