Deloitte has named Grandstream Networks as parts of its 2015 North America Technology Fast 500 list.
The consulting and advisory firm’s list ranks the top technology, telecommunications, life sciences and energy technology based on their revenue growth from 2011 to 2014.
Deloitte cited the company’s innovation and impact on both large and small businesses as reasons it put Grandstream on the list.
"We are extremely proud to be named to Deloitte's North America Technology Fast 500 list for 2015," said Grandstream CEO David Li. “Since Grandstream was founded in 2002, we have strived to bring high-quality and innovative communications solutions to market that not only connect users around the world but also empower businesses to be more productive than ever before." He added, "Awards like Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 continue to uphold the success we've had in these areas and the personal connection we've made with users, resellers and partners around the world. We look forward to continued growth and the innovative solutions that will result."
The recognition is due to how pervasive SIP and VoIP technology has become in the last decade. Many businesses are moving to VoIP if they haven’t already because of the lower costs savings, especially if they run all their communications over the internet using Unified Communications.
While there are plenty of service providers, a lot of companies want hardware that can take advantage of the features VoIP offers. Grandstream offers a range of hardware IP phones and devices that support videoconferencing and IP telephony, as well as the back-end hardware such as gateways to make it all work.
The company has also recently announced a new IP phone that supports up to 13 lines earlier this month. If the company keeps up the technological progress it’s had so far, Deloitte and others will consider Grandstream a leader for years to come.
Grandstream is also a Platinum sponsor of TMC’s ITEXPO conference, which will be help in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from Jan 25-28 next year.
