Edgewater Networks (News - Alert) has added Cohesion Networks as its latest channel partner distributing “The Intelligent Edge” platform. A powerful deployment model for hosted PBX (News - Alert) and SIP trunking, The Intelligent Edge features Edgewater Networks’ EdgeMarc Enterprise Session Border Controllers (ESBCs) and EdgeView Services Management System. Together, the two offerings allow operators to optimize customer deployments, while speeding up remote monitoring and troubleshooting.

With this channel partner agreement, Cohesion Networks’ portfolio of data communications tools for network operators and service providers in western Europe is greatly enhanced.

In November, Edgewater Networks attended TMC (News - Alert) Editor’s Day Silicon Valley where it talked with TMC about The Intelligent Edge, as well as why even small to medium sized businesses (SMBs) need session border controllers.
