Very soon after announcing a partnership with Unify to create an SMB-focused UC appliance, Patton is now entering a new agreement with Flowroute, a provider of advanced calling and messaging services. As part of this freshly minted partnership, Patton’s SmartNode 4520 Series VoIP routers and the SmartNode 5480 enterprise session border controller (E-SBC) have undergone rigorous interoperability testing and been certified by Flowroute.
The certification process verified support and document configuration recommendations for Patton’s VoIP equipment with Flowroute’s communications services. The result is assured problem-free operation of Flowroute’s voice services with Patton’s equipment. Additionally, Patton has joined a number of elite technology companies as a member of Flowroute’s Certified Technology Partner program.
This past September, Flowroute became certified as a CLEC carrier across the United States, making it the first SIP provider to do so. This means the company can offer phone numbers, inbound and outbound calling, messaging, and advanced signaling at carrier-grade quality.
“We chose to partner with Flowroute because of their optimized global telecom network,” said Burton A. Patton, executive vice president at Patton. “Patton customers demand reliable communication solutions that deliver a superior-quality voice experience, which made the decision to partner with Flowroute an easy one.”
Businesses that rely on Patton’s VoIP equipment as part of their voice communications are now able to benefit from Flowroute’s reliable, cost-effective, SIP-based voice services. This will likely prove great news for many as Flowroute offers unsurpassed customer control of telecommunications resources, including phone numbers, caller-ID display, advanced signaling for carrier-grade voice and messaging, and other features.
Best of all, organizations that deploy Flowroute services alongside Patton VoIP products can now benefit from the combined commitment to customer success of both companies.
“The reliability of Patton’s SmartNode brand is unmatched in the industry,” said Dan Nordale, chief marketing officer at Flowroute. “Our combined experience offers a tremendous value to the business communications market and we are excited to deepen our relationship to better serve our customers.”
