PC client solutions provider, Vennetics has announced the launch of J-Box product designed specifically for mobile operators, enabling them to offer new compelling features to their subscribers that drive customer value. The J-Box product is comprised of two parts the J-Box Feature Server and J-Box Launch Pad.

 

Officials at Vennetics explain J-Box server as carrier grade application platform that is deployed in the mobile network against either an IMS core or other SIP based infrastructure. The system controls voice, media and messaging traffic as well as providing comprehensive support for real time billing, location and presence features.

 

J-Box Launch Pad, part of J-BOX package provides an intuitive user interface offering a range of advanced and engaging telephony and media services. It’s fun to use and extremely user friendly driving both customer adoption and usage of the service, says the company.

 

The Launch Pad is used by subscribers to initiate their favorite operator services, such as voice, messaging, video and content from their PC. It replicates and enhances the subscriber’s mobile phone experience from their PC.

Commenting on the launch of J-Box Kieran Dalton Chairman of Vennetics said that the mobile broadband market has lacked real differentiation apart from price reductions and the introduction of different colored 3G dongles.

 

Dalton continued by saying said “Its good news for mobile operators as J-Box provides them with a means to differentiate their mobile broadband proposition by offering subscribers engaging and relevant services that enables operators to extend their service footprint to their subscriber’s PC screen and also generates a business case that drives both revenue and new mobile broadband connections.”
